Medical and Dental Checkup
 Our PEDIAkids learn the importance of
caring for their bodies and to regard the dentist and doctor
as people who help them stay healthy. The dentist and doctor
give a talk to the children before the actual check ups are
done.

Show and Tell

Throughout the school year, our
PEDIAkids are given many opportunities to speak
before a group on different topics to draw them out
and help them gain self-confidence. |

|
|
 Buwan
ng Wika
The activities are designed to expose
our PEDIAkids to our rich heritage and to be proud to be a
Filipino. The culminating activity for the week is a
program where the children recite a poem in Filipino (Sabayang
Bigkasan), dance, and sing. They all wear Filipino
costumes.

Pet Show

Our PEDIAkids learn the
importance of caring for animals. They also learn
how animals help humans. The children tell their
classmates about their pets. |

United Nations
It truly is a small world and our
PEDIAkids learn about different countries and cultures. The
week’s activities end with a program showcasing the children
in different costumes – dancing, singing, and reciting
poems. Our PEDIAkids also get to taste different kinds of
food.

Halloween
|
It’s time to
be creative and have some fun! Our PEDIAkids simply
love to dress up in their favorite costumes and be
showered with candies!

 Christmas Season
Activities
 Our
PEDIAkids make their own Christmas ornaments and decorate
the Christmas tree. This is also the time when we have the
Christmas Package drive to teach them the meaning of
sacrificing and sharing to help the needy. The Christmas
program and party brings all families together – celebrating
the birth of Jesus, getting to know each other, sharing
gifts and food and having fun participating in games.

Field Trip

Our PEDIAkids discover that
there is so much to learn outside the classroom. They also get to meet community helpers. |

 Book
Parade
We encourage our PEDIAkids to read,
read, read! They share their favorite book and come dressed
as their favorite character.

Family and Field Day
|
 |
It’s show time again for our
PEDIAKids – each class performs a number to showcase
their motor skills. This also trains the children
to perform in front of a big audience. All family
members are invited to attend this special day and
are encouraged to join the activities. This day
brings the PEDIA HOUSE family together in the spirit
of camaraderie and fun. |
